About Karo

Who makes Karo and why it is free: L. V. R. builds it in India for owners, staff and the people they work with. No ads, and your data is never sold.

Karo is a simple task manager for the way work really happens in India: in shops, offices, clinics and family businesses, between owners, staff, partners and the people they work with outside the company.

Why we made Karo

Most small teams run on phone calls and WhatsApp groups. They work, until a task gets lost in a busy chat, nobody is sure who said they would do it, and the owner ends up calling everyone to ask “is it done?”.

In Karo, you give a task once. It has an owner, a deadline and a status, and it stays in front of everyone until it is done. You see who accepted it, what is moving and what is waiting for your review, without asking.

  • Free and simple

    Karo is free to use. You should be able to start in a minute, without training.

  • Anyone can join in

    With a Karo Pin, you work with your staff, your CA, a supplier or your family, not just people on a company list.

  • Your language

    The Karo app on Android and iPhone speaks English, हिंदी, ಕನ್ನಡ, தமிழ், తెలుగు and മലയാളം. Each person picks their own.

  • Your data is yours

    No ads, no selling your information, and you can delete your account at any time.

Why Karo is free

A task manager works only when everyone on the task is in it: your staff, your partners, your CA, a supplier. A price for each person would keep some of them out. So Karo has no paid plan and no price per person, shows no ads and never sells your information.

If paid features ever come, our terms of use say we will tell you clearly first, and that nothing you already use will start costing money without your agreement. What is free in Karo, and the few limits.
